Mold your Thoughts and Life for Success.

Uncategorized Oct 14, 2018

The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. Prov 12:5

You will never enjoy the kind of success that God has for you, if you cannot first see it in your heart and mind. If you can see it in your thoughts, you will eventually hold it in your hands. I can testify to the power of this principle. It has brought my wife and I into undeniable breakthroughs!  I have spent thousands of hours incubating my dreams. I kept visualizing the sick being healed, crusades packed with people, and thousands of dollars coming into the ministry. All this was done on the canvas of my imagination. And just as I saw it in my mind’s eye, so it has manifested in the natural.

I remember when I first started preaching, and having my own meetings.  At first, my crusades were like small Bible Study classes. However, as I practiced this principle of molding my dreams, things began to change. Today, we have seen thousands of people turn to Christ.

During a recent crusade in India, the field was packed to capacity with over 15,000 hungry people. Over 100 deaf ears were healed, and many that were blind received their sight. We have also been to Haiti, and seen 20,000 people come to receive a fresh touch from Jesus.

My point in sharing this, is to show you that if you put this powerful principle to work, it will work for you. It never fails. And God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for others, He will do for you,  if you are patient, and refuse to give up!

7 Ways to Mold your Thoughts and Life for Success.

# 1 You must decide on what you want in your thoughts.

No one can make this choice for you. You cannot just sit around and wait. Sadly, this has been the downfall of so many good people. You have to choose life.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. ”Deuteronomy 30:19

#2 Find the promise that covers your desires.

“Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 This is one of the most powerful statements that ever fell from the mouth of Jesus. The question we need to ask ourselves is this: was Jesus lying, or was He telling the truth? I think He was telling the truth, and if He was telling the truth, we should honour Him by believing His Word.

Another striking example of this is from John 14:13. Jesus says, “Whatever ye ask in My Name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Therefore, it seems like God is not intimidated by our requests. We can be bold when we talk to God, because He delights to give us the desires of our heart.

# 3 Keep your thoughts on the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is our guide, and a very present help in times of trouble. God has given us His Spirit to bring us into our wealthy place, but we have to trust Him, and always keep our thoughts centered on Him, every step of way. The Scriptures tell us to,

“Not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.” (Pro 3:7 NASB). In other words, we don’t depend on our own wisdom. We keep the Lord in our thoughts, and He will cause us to win. Even Jesus, the perfect Son of God, had this to say about His own wisdom: “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” John 5:30 (NASB)

# 4 Keep your internal mirror Clean.

Have you ever come out of the shower to discover your bath-room mirror is covered with steam? As a result, you cannot see your face, or even function properly.

Then, if you are like me, you take your hand or towel, and wipe the steam away, before you can brush your teeth and get ready for the day. The same is true with your internal mirror.

Until the internal mirror is clean, you can never see all that God has for you, and your life will remain foggy. This is also true with your inner mind and thoughts.

If your mind is filled with fear, shortage, disappointment, or other strongholds, you will end up sabotaging your future success, until you clean your internal mirror.

# 5 Keep visualizing yourself coming out winning!

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.” Gen 11:6

This is one of the most breathtaking Scriptures in the Bible. When you make up your mind to be single minded, only Heaven knows what you can accomplish. If you can see victory in your mind, you will see it in your life. Therefore, whatever you can conceive, you will receive. Every time you can see your goals and visions coming to pass in your mind, the Bible says that your profiting will appear to all. (See 1Tim 4:15).  Another amazing story is found in Genesis 30:30-41.

Here, we see Jacob using the principle of visualization, to change his difficult situation. For 15 years, he was treated like a slave, at the mercy of Laban. However, everything in his life changed, when he decided to change his mindset, and set this powerful law into motion.

“And it came to pass, when so ever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.  And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and men-servants, and camels, and asses.n” Genesis 30:41-43

So, whatever God promises you, fight for it, and see it being fulfilled! Start imagining the Word of God coming to pass in your life. Cast those wicked thoughts down that try to tell you that you will never be healed of your sickness or disease.

Keep seeing yourself healed, and don’t be afraid to talk about it! Stand firm on the integrity of God’s Word, and never give up. For example, if you are believing for restoration in your marriage and family, then confess .  “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the  caterpillar, and the palmerworm.” Joel 2:25

I can see God restoring back to you, the years that the enemy has stolen, in Jesus Name!

# 6 Stay in Joy.

One of the most important weapons you have in life is joy. You may experience pressures in life, but do not let it drain your joy. Why is that? Because your joy is your strength, and your strength is connected to your breakthrough, and to your rising, (See Proverbs 24:5, 10).

If you have no joy, then you have no strength. If you have no strength, then you will not be able to win when faced with life’s challenges. Can you see how your victory is directly linked to your joy Therefore, whatever you do, don’t lose your joy, because “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).

 # 7 Stay on Faith Street.

All the blessings that God has for you, are located on Faith Street. “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”1 John 5:4 Faith is what enables you to overcome the world. Therefore, it is important to watch what you say. Check yourself and see what’s been coming out of your mouth lately. Remember, until you speak, your enemies remain in charge. So, keep speaking the solution, not the problem.
